Percy was a romantic poet, and also the husband to Mary Shelley, author of Frankenstein. ![]() London was written by William Blake (1757 - 1827 ) in 1794 . William had grown up in london and this poem was based on his perspective that london was a city corrupted by greed. ![]() ![]() The Prelude was written by William Wordsworth (1770 - 1850 ) in 1798-1850 . William continually worked on this poem up until his death, basing it on his own childhood experiences. |
